We sell a wide variety of items. The Ca Trading Post can sell all items that are accepted by eBay. The items should be in good physical condition and full working order. We prefer items with an assessed value of at least $50. However, if your item sells for less than $50, our minimum commission is $20.00. When will I receive my money?
A check for your proceeds is typically mailed 30 - 45 days after you drop off your item. This amount of time is necessary in order for us to list your item, allow the auction to run, collect payment from the winning bidder, ship the item, confirm receipt of the item, and mail the proceeds check to you.

How long do you list my item for sale on eBay?
The Ca Trading Post typically runs auctions for seven days to maximize bidding interest. We do, however, have the ability to offer shorter auction run times due to time constraints (Tickets to sporting events, etc.).

What if my item does not sell?
The first time your item does not sell, we will re-list it for free! If it doesn’t sell a second time, we will contact you. When you drop off your item, you can choose to pick up your item or we will donate it to a local charity for you.

Will my item be packaged and shipped safely?
All items are professionally packaged and shipped to the winning bidder. We have a comprehensive return policy with buyers in case your item is damaged in transit.

What are your commissions and what types of packages do you offer?
We offer the best overall commission structure in the industry, taking the hassle out of selling your item and returning more money to you! You get a check in the mail based upon the final sale price of your item. We pay all the eBay listing and credit card transaction fees. There are no hidden fees or additional commissions. Our minimum commission is $20.00 which we charge on items that sell for less than $50.

Why do you recommend that auctions start at a very low minimum amount?
In our experience, selecting a low starting price usually results in a higher final sale price because there will be more bidders. Customers can select a higher starting price by using our Premium Service, but the item may be less likely to sell.

Should I set a minimum bid?
Part of our service is to research your item and estimate its value within on eBay. We do this by tracking the success of similar items recently sold on eBay. Once listed, the eBay community ultimately determines the sale price of the item through bidding. If you would prefer to risk losing a sale than selling your item for less than a certain amount, you may want to consider setting a minimum bid. The lowest bid possible without a minimum is $9.99.
